How do I stop answering the same customer questions all day?
You already know the answer to most of those questions. The problem is that you are the one delivering it, individually, to every person who asks.
Here is the plan.
Step 1: Spend one week writing down the questions that keep coming back
Pay attention to every question you answer this week. Write down the ones that arrive more than once. By the end of seven days, you will have a short list. That list is the only thing the rest of this plan is about.
Step 2: Write one good answer for each question on the list
Pick each question and write the best answer you have ever given it. Not a note to yourself. The actual answer, the way you would give it to a customer you like. Include the detail they usually need to stop the follow-up question from coming right after. Once you have this written down, the question stops being a task and becomes a resource.
Step 3: Put the answers where the questions arrive
A saved reply in WhatsApp. A canned response in Gmail. An FAQ paragraph on your website. The goal is simple: the next time this question arrives, your good answer is one tap or one click away. If the questions come by phone, a short script in your notes app is enough. You are not building a system. You are putting the answer at your fingertips.
Step 4: Use saved replies for questions that keep coming anyway
Some questions will arrive even after the answer is visible on your site. Customers do not always read the FAQ. Saved replies and canned responses are the next layer. Most messaging tools and email clients have this built in. You are not copying and pasting each time. You are pressing one button.
Step 5: Let an agent handle the volume and pass you what actually needs you
This is where it becomes a real business advantage. A study led by James Oldroyd of the MIT Sloan School of Management found that a lead contacted within 5 minutes is 21 times more likely to be qualified than one contacted after 30 minutes. An agent replies in seconds, any hour of the day, in your voice, without you picking up your phone. It takes the question off your plate entirely: you are not the one deciding if it can wait or remembering to follow up. And it frees you for the work that actually grows the business, which is the one thing the agent cannot do for you.
Here is how that looks for the questions most owners get:
| If the question is… | Do this |
|---|---|
| What are your prices? | Saved reply with a link to your price page |
| Are you available on [date]? | Saved reply with your booking link |
| How long does it take? | Saved reply with your usual timeframe |
| How do I get started? | Saved reply with the first step you ask for |
| Do you work with my type of business? | Saved reply with your yes or no and what you need from them |
| A complaint | Pass straight to you, every time |
What stays with you
Complaints. Exceptions. Special prices. Anything where the customer is upset, or the situation is not covered by a standard answer. These are the moments that need a person, not a quick reply.
The rule is simple: an agent delivers the answer you already gave. It does not invent a policy you have not set. When it cannot deliver your answer, it passes the question to you.
If you are not sure where that line is, the Air Canada case is worth reading. A company’s chatbot gave a customer the wrong policy. A tribunal held the company responsible. What your agent says is what you said. Read the Air Canada case.
Where an agent comes in
The agents we build do one job. One question type, or one part of your week. Built around how you already work, connected to the tools you already use, and sounding like you when they reply.
One-time setup: $1,420. Running it costs roughly $20 a month, paid directly to Anthropic. If it has not taken a real problem off your hands after 15 days of use, we fix it. If we cannot, we refund what you paid us. How much does an AI agent actually cost?
For a real example, here is how much time an agent saved one client.
Tell us the one question you answer the most, and we will tell you in 15 minutes whether an agent can take it off your plate.
